Guangxi Yuchai Group won the 2008 China Industry Awards

The Fifth China Industry Forum jointly organized by the China Industry News, the Party Construction Department of the Party School of the CPC Central Committee, the China National Defense Science and Technology Industrial Enterprise Management Association, and the China Development Research Institute was recently held in Beijing. Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Group won the honor of "China Industrial Economy Pioneer National Demonstration Unit" and "China Industrial Party Pioneering Unit". Li Tiansheng, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Manager of the Stock Company won the title of "Pioneer of Chinese Industrial Economy".

The theme of this year's China Industry Forum is “Innovation, Optimization, Breakthrough, and Development”. It aims to further promote the integration of industrialization and informationization, promote the combination of high and new technologies and traditional industrial transformation, promote the development of industries from big to strong, and build more well-known brands. To promote outstanding enterprises and advanced individuals in the industrial field. In 2008, Yuchai Group endured the financial turmoil and achieved greater success. Its sales revenue reached 20.988 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 14.32%, and exceeded the 20 billion yuan mark for the first time, successfully achieving the goal of “rebuilding a Yuchai within three years”. The performance of Yuchai has been highly praised. The “National Model Unit for Pioneering China's Industrial Economy” and “Pioneer China’s Industrial Economy” were both won. The “Pioneer Unit of the Chinese Industrial Party” was established for the first time this year. The grand prizes are the highest awards of this forum. Yuchai scored only three yuan and became a star of the awards.
