ZF Becomes STARTUP AUTOBAHN New Partner

Founded in May 2016, STARTUP AUTOBAHN is an open innovation and cooperation platform for start-up companies and mature companies in the transportation and industry 4.0 field. It is for international and local start-ups and cooperatives. The members who jointly created this platform with Daimler AG include the American company Plug & Play Technology Center, whose roles are incubators and investors; followed by the University of Stuttgart and the research and development facility ARENA2036. At EXPO Day in Stuttgart, STARTUP AUTOBAHN demonstrated its new partner for the growing interconnected platform.

Founding companies welcomed the joining of new partners. In addition to ZF (ZF) outside, the new partners include Hewlett-Packard, BASF, Porsche and Maruta. All sponsors share a common goal: to make the pioneering and innovative spirit more firmly rooted in the Stuttgart industrial area and the local incubator base. Mamatha Chamarthi, Chief Digital Officer (CDO) of ZF stated: "The cooperation with STARTUP AUTOBAHN is an important complement to our digital strategy. Through cooperation, ZF has been able to get closer to transportation and industry 4.0. Innovative startups in the field."
