Wearable devices can prompt overdrinking

Engineers at the University of California created a wearable device. Lets wear look like a temporary tattoo and contains the alcohol level that detects your sweat and reminds you when you have reached the top, or send it to the sensor on your smartphone.

According to Dr. Seila Selimovic, director of the Institute of Microarrays in Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering Projects:
It is like a temporary tattoo, but it is actually a biosensor embedded with several flexible wireless components. A component releases chemicals that stimulate the perspiration of the underlying skin. Another component senses the flow of generated sweat, which measures the alcohol content, and sends them to the user's phone for changes in the current.
The alcohol measurement in sweat is not new, but the speed at which the signal is sent to your smartphone (about eight minutes) is far better than the two or three hours it had taken previously.
