Under the guidance of “Joining the Heart – 2025 Strategy”, this cooperation is the latest move by Volkswagen Group (China) to transform from a car manufacturer to a sustainable mobile travel solution provider.
In the first phase of cooperation, Volkswagen Group (China) will cooperate with Star Charging, Special Calls and Beijing Charging Facilities Public Service Management Platform (e charging network).
Today, Volkswagen Group (China) has signed cooperation agreements with domestic related charging operators in Beijing. In the future, Volkswagen will work with partners to support more integrated charging services in the Chinese market. Volkswagen Group (China)'s new energy vehicle customers will enjoy convenient charging services through the app. When the consumer charges the vehicle through the charging pile provided by the star charging and special calls throughout the country, or through the local charging facility opened in Beijing, it is not necessary to switch to the application provided by each party, only A one-stop vehicle charging service is available through the application provided by the Volkswagen Group (China).
At the moment, Volkswagen Group (China) is working to build a digital ecosystem that can serve the various brands of the group. The integrated application sharing platform will support multi-party charging services and will be applied to vehicles of various brands of the Volkswagen Group (China), thus becoming an important part of the ecosystem.
Through the application, Volkswagen Group (China) new energy vehicle owners can also receive real-time information provided by the charging operator, query the charging pile usage status while the vehicle is running, thereby locating the nearest available charging station, in addition, the application The program also monitors the charging process in real time to ensure charging safety and pays through the mobile payment platform after charging is complete.
