The new flexible AC power control key technology through acceptance

June 25, the Ministry of Science and Technology in Beijing held a national support plan "a new flexible AC power control key technologies and demonstration" project acceptance. The project completed various research tasks, technical and economic indicators to meet the project requirements, acceptance of the panel agreed that the project passed the acceptance.

The project of "New Flexible AC Power Control Key Technologies and Demonstration" is undertaken by China Electric Power Research Institute. Under the powerful organization of State Grid Corporation of China, Network Fujian University, North China Electric Power University, Tsinghua University, Hunan University, Southeast University and Tianwei change 10 units to participate in research, production and research to carry out joint research, through three years of hard work, project research to overcome the 1000kV series complement, 750kV controllable high reactance, coordinated control of multiple FACTS, unified power quality controller, real-time monitoring of power quality and coordinated control, etc., successfully completed various research tasks and achieved fruitful results.

The project relies on the sending of northwest wind power, UHV AC pilot demonstration project and construction of high-quality power park to carry out research and demonstration of key technologies of new flexible AC transmission. In order to solve the problems of large-capacity long-distance power transmission and large-scale wind power outsourcing , FACTS interactive coordination and other technical problems provide a technical means to meet the special power users of higher power quality needs. The project achievements have been applied in 1000 kV UHV AC pilot demonstration project expansion project, Dunhuang in Gansu Province and Yuhai Wind Power Project in Qinghai Province. In Beijing and Xiamen, the first high-quality power park demonstration park in China was established, effectively supporting the development of China's power grid and related equipment Industry's technological progress.
