Recently, China Metallurgical Northern Engineering Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Metallurgical Group, completed the preliminary design of the mineral processing project for the comprehensive utilization of the boron iron ore resources at Wengquangou of Liaoning Fengcheng and the construction project of the boron chemical base, and began preparations for the next phase of the project.
The Fengcheng Wengquangou iron ore beneficiation project in Liaoning Province is the first large-scale development and utilization of a boron iron ore resource project in China. The beneficiation plant is designed to treat 2 million tons of ferroboron ore annually, and can produce 796,900 tons of iron ore concentrate, boron concentrate. 393,000 tons of ore.
