·The domestic "advanced fuel cell power generation technology" passed the acceptance

On February 28, 2018, the High-tech Department of the Ministry of Science and Technology recently organized the acceptance meeting of the "12th Five-Year" National 863 Program theme project "Advanced Fuel Cell Power Generation Technology" in Changchun. The project has two projects, which are jointly completed by Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Wuhan Yintai Technology Co., Ltd., Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tsinghua University, and Dongfang Electric Group.

After many years of research, the project has developed protons for the application of the fuel cell power generation technology of the existing direct methanol fuel cell long-term power generation system and the energy supply system complementary to the kilowatt fuel cell and the solar cell. Key materials such as exchange membranes and nano-electrocatalysts, and membrane electrode of core components, the peak power density of membrane electrode reached 262 MW/cm at 80 °C; research on direct methanol fuel cell stack and system integration technology, assembled rated output The power of 5 watts, 10 watts, 20 watts, 100 watts, 150 watts and 500 watts, the energy conversion efficiency reached 26.3%, the cumulative operation of 2600 hours, the attenuation rate of 8.9%; the development of two sets of 3 kW high-voltage hydrogen source - A prototype of a fuel cell integrated intelligent power system, a set of 3 kW low-cost fuel cell backup emergency power system, and a 5kW-class fuel cell power supply system are tested at the communication base station.

As an important layout in the field of hydrogen energy and fuel cells in China, this project has broken through key technologies such as fault rapid diagnosis and response technology, fuel storage technology, intelligent management and control technology, and system integration; it has trained a group of technical backbone talents. It provides a good guarantee for the establishment of China's independent hydrogen energy and fuel cell industry and social and economic development in important fields such as energy and transportation.
