Russian LNG Gorskaya will order 5 compressors

A few days ago, Russia's LNG Gorskaya announced that it has awarded a contract with GE's oil and gas company Nuovo Pignone of Italy to supply equipment for the construction of Russia's first floating liquefaction project.

Under the contract, GE Oil & Gas will produce and supply one main cold compressor, two nitrogen expansion compressors and two LNG evaporative gas compressors. The completion period of the above equipment is 14 months.

It is reported that LNG-Gorskaya has signed a contract with the Russian joint shipbuilding company, and the joint shipbuilding is responsible for the construction of the first three LNG fuel tankers in Russia. The three vessels are part of a series of nine fuel-filled vessels that will transport LNG fuel from an LNG plant. The plant's annual production is expected to reach 1.26 million tons of LNG.
