Two robot prototypes named "Bright" and "Moon" were recently unveiled on the first floor of Shenyang Xinsong Robot Co., which marked the birth of China's first generation of personal robots with independent intellectual property rights.

Through the wheeled walker and sensor array, the robot can walk autonomously in the user's home and calmly avoid obstacles. In addition, through the network, voice and touch screen interaction, the robot also has entertainment functions such as singing, talking, storytelling, etc. It can also download news, weather forecast and other information from the Internet and provide assistant functions such as personal schedule management and voice reminder. What is even more amazing is that the owner can use the mobile phone to command the robot to patrol at home. When there is a fire or gas leak in the house, the robot can send a text message to the owner's mobile phone for prompting.

At present, robots have evolved from first-generation rendition robots, second-generation sensation robots to third-generation intelligent robots, while personal robots are typical representatives of third-generation robots. China has regarded the research of service robots as an important strategic goal of the 11th Five-Year Plan.
