Mercury Marine launches 6.7L series diesel engine

Mercury Marine has introduced a new Mercury 6.7L medium diesel engine (purchasing supply) series.

Â Â Â Â Â The new electronically controlled common rail engine includes three power stages: 480hp, 500hp and 550hp. These engines will be supplied as inboard engines and equipped with Mercury Zeus pod drives. The new Mercury engine is compatible with Mercury's complete line of SmartCraft controllers and electronics, including the inboard optional joystick driving and joystick driving pod (Zeus).

Â Â Â Â Â The new Mercury Diesel 6.7L engine is assembled with the latest quality control at FPT Industrial's dedicated marine engine plant.

Â Â Â Â Â Mercury's new line of medium-duty diesel engines combines exceptional acceleration and high-speed performance with quiet, smooth operation. Its state-of-the-art engine control system (purchased from the product library) and electro-pneumatic common rail fuel injection technology will also provide low fuel consumption for affordable operating costs and extended applications.
