In the first half of this year, Kumho Tire will invest in the construction of an automated production plant covering an area of ​​approximately 500,000 square meters in Bieber County, Georgia, which is rapidly growing into a new automobile production base. The plant is scheduled to be completed in the second half of 2009. The total investment for the first phase of the project is 165 million U.S. dollars, and the annual output after completion of production is expected to reach 2.1 million. The products produced by this factory will be sold in the replacement tire market in all regions of the United States, in addition to supporting the entire vehicle manufacturers in the United States.
