Hebei will eliminate more than 10,000 coal-fired boilers within three years

The excessive consumption of coal is an important cause of atmospheric pollution in Hebei Province. Coal consumption in Hebei Province accounts for nearly 90% of total energy consumption, which is more than 20 percentage points higher than the national average. Hebei Province proposes to cut coal consumption by 40 million tons by 2017. According to the “Programme”, Hebei Province will remove and banned a batch of coal-fired boilers by adding new centralized heating.
