In order to undertake a number of large-scale geological surveys and national-level scientific research projects to provide strong analytical and test support, the Guangxi Metallurgical Research Institute introduced a new plasma mass spectrometer (ICP-MS), and at the same time promoted the construction of the brand laboratory of the hospital. .

ICP-MS is a modern large-scale analytical instrument. It is mainly used to analyze dozens of trace elements in various geological samples and in environmental samples. It mainly analyzes rare earth elements and rare rarities in the exploration geochemical 76 element analysis system. The element, which is the main analytical instrument in the supporting analysis system, plays a key role in the exploration of geochemical sample analysis. ICP-MS also has a low detection limit, a wide linear range, simple spectral lines, less interference, and high analytical precision. The rapid analysis and analysis will greatly improve the detection capability and efficiency of the analysis and testing center of the hospital.

To welcome the arrival of this member, the center started early preparations, freed up the analysis room for precision instruments, and installed air-conditioning dehumidifier equipment to provide sufficient environmental protection for ICP-MS. The center is also equipped with two experienced analytical chemistry engineers to follow up the installation, commissioning and acceptance of the instrument. Several technical personnel with professional technical titles and practical work experience are also used to assist in the maintenance of the instrument. - The use of MS provides full technical protection. At present, the instrument has been commissioned in the center, ready to carry out inspections.
