Five tire companies draft new green tire standards

Recently, the “Green Tire Product Appraisal Specification Automobile Tyre ” organized by the China Rubber Industry Association has been completed and submitted for approval, and has begun to solicit public opinions in the industry. After revision, this standard will replace the “Green Tire Technical Specification” issued in 2014.

The reporter noticed that the drafting unit of this standard includes five tire companies, namely Double Money Tire, Double Star Group, Linglong Tire , Zhongce Rubber and Triangle Tire .

The standard stipulates the green evaluation requirements for automotive radial tires, the preparation method and evaluation method for product life cycle assessment reports, and is applicable to radial passenger car tires, light truck radial tires, and truck radial tires.

The content shows that only tire products that meet the basic requirements and evaluation index requirements at the same time and provide life cycle assessment reports can be called green products. The basic requirements are the following 6 points.

Tire products should pass the CCC mandatory product certification;

Establish and implement a quality management system in accordance with GB/T 19001, establish and implement an environmental management system in accordance with GB/T 24001, and establish and implement an energy management system in accordance with the relevant requirements of GB/T 23331;

According to the requirements of GB 17167 equipped with energy measuring instruments;

Water pollutants and organic pollutants (VOCs) emissions in the production process shall comply with the provisions of GB 27632;

The comprehensive energy consumption of the unit product production shall comply with the regulations for the advanced value of energy consumption per tire unit product of GB 29449;

Tire production comprehensive indicators should comply with the provisions of Appendix A.

In addition, the standard also provides detailed provisions on tire raw materials, performance and other aspects in the evaluation index requirements.
