The largest aniline base in China began construction on the 11th in Tongliao, Inner Mongolia. The project investment is 9.5 billion yuan, which can produce 600,000 tons of aniline per year.
The Kyrgyz coal Cornell aniline project was jointly invested by Jilin Coal Industry Group and Jilin Connell Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. The project was constructed in two phases. The first phase of the project was completed and put into production in June 2012; the second phase of the project was put into production in September 2014. After the project is completed and put into production, annual sales revenue will be 15.3 billion yuan, and profits and taxes will be 1.6 billion yuan.
The project will make full use of Tongliao's rich lignite resources to produce hydrogen through a coal hydrogen plant. Nitrogen is synthesized from nitrogen from an air separation unit under the action of a catalyst to generate nitric acid and react with pure benzene to produce nitrobenzene for gas-phase catalytic hydrogenation. The product aniline was obtained after the reaction. This is also an important part of the construction of the coal-based fine chemical industry base in the Mengdong region.
