Overall sales

First of all, from the perspective of the overall sales volume of the company, although the growth rate of the auto market in China has slowed down in the past two years, the overall growth situation has been maintained. However, the sales volume of many autonomous enterprises has generally shown a downward trend. Taking Chery Automobile as an example, it has always been China's most autonomously sold company. Sales volume has been declining year by year, from 618,800 units in 2010 to 532,800 units in 2012. In January-April this year, Chery's sales fell again to 164,900, which is already lower than the Great Wall, Geely and BYD, ranking fourth, and its "boss" status may not be guaranteed.

FAW Group, which is similar to Chery's, has continued to decline sales since 2011. In addition, BYD, JAC, and Brilliance Automotive have also experienced sales declines in the past two years. The sales of these companies in 2012 were lower than the sales in 2011 or 2010.

The sales of the Great Wall, Geely, Dongfeng Group, and SAIC Group are in a good position and have maintained a sustained growth in recent years. Among them, the focus is on Great Wall Motors, which ranked fourth in its own brands in 2010, but sales continued to grow rapidly in the past two years. In January-April this year, sales reached 205,300 units, and it has become an independent car company. The highest sales company.

While Chang'an Group (excluding Ono) experienced a slight decline in sales in 2011, sales have grown overall in recent years.

Average sales of models

From the perspective of the average sales volume of the enterprise models, of these companies, although Chery Automobile ranked first in sales volume in 2012, the average sales volume of its models was 22,400, ranking only seventh, relatively backward. Chery owns 24 models this year, which is the largest number of models among these companies. However, among its models, the annual sales of over 100,000 models are only QQ and Tiggo models, and as many as ten models annual sales Less than 4,000 vehicles. Chery’s recent strategy of returning to “one Chery” is to change the phenomenon of continued decline in sales volume and low product competition.

The Great Wall, Geely and BYD not only ranked top in terms of overall sales, but also had higher average vehicle sales, ranking in the top three in turn. Among them, in 2012, Great Wall Motor's average vehicle sales volume was 44.300 thousand, which was the highest among the ten companies. This was related to the requirement of “specialty, precision, and strength” of the products. The average sales of Geely and BYD models were 37,800 and 35,100 vehicles, respectively.
