Chengdong Shipbuilding First System FSO Name

Recently, Chengdong Shipbuilding announced the naming ceremony for a floating storage tanker (FSO) built by Vietnam Petroleum Technology Service Company (PTSC), named "PTSC Bien Dong 01".
The ship was the first FSO acquired by Chengdong Shipbuilding in 2011 and cost US$800 million and will be used for oil development in southeastern Vietnam.
â€œPTSC Bien Dong 01â€ is 170 meters long and 32.4 meters wide. It accommodates 50 staff members and can store 350,000 barrels of crude oil.
According to reports, with the shuttle tanker delivered in the previous period and the FSO currently being delivered, it marks that Chengdong Shipbuilding has become the fifth shipyard in South Korea to successfully enter the global offshore equipment market.
