Car Green Tire Grade Certification (C-GTRA) results officially released in Tianjin

Recently, Tianjin Huacheng Certification Center released the results of green tires for the automotive grade certification testing organizations (C-GTRA) in Tianjin. This activity represents the unified integration of environmental protection, energy saving, water saving, recycling, low carbon, renewable, organic and other products set up separately at present according to the "Overall Plan for the Construction of an Ecological Civilization System" issued by the Central Committee of the State Council. With regard to requirements for green product standards, certifications, and logos, the National Certification and Accreditation Regulatory Commission has undertaken the task of formulating a green product certification and labeling integration plan, that is, establishing a uniform Chinese green product conformity assessment system. After the establishment of a uniform China green product conformity assessment system in the future, the automotive green tire grade certification will also be incorporated into the national unified system.

In order to ensure the objectivity, scientificity and rigor of the test results, eliminate the impact of the objective differences of the test sites on the test results, strictly control the test environment boundary conditions, all the tires rolling resistance test, temperature resistance test, wet grip performance Tests and rolling noise tests are all carried out in accordance with the requirements of the "Evaluation Regulations for Automotive Green Tires", with reference to the latest limits of EU regulations. Only meeting the limits will be presented on the "Green Tire Tier Certification Mark".

At present, China Strategic Group, Wanli Tire and Linglong Tire have passed the green tire certification. However, there are currently two other authoritative organizations in China that are cultivating a standard system related to "green tires." They are the National Tire Rim Standardization Technical Committee (ROC) and the China Rubber Industry Association (CEPA). Among them, the China Rubber Industry Association has issued tire label designs and met to discuss related contents such as Tire Label Grading Standard (Draft for Evaluation).

Green tire verification

As early as February 24, 2014, the China Rubber Industry Association issued the "Green Tire Technical Specification" (hereinafter referred to as the "Code") that has attracted much attention from the tire industry at home and abroad, and began trial on March 1. The "Code" standard number is XXZB/LT-102-2014, first proposed by the China Rubber Industry Association, and is China's first green tire industry self-discipline. The China Rubber Association plans to set up a green tire technical support center, accredit tire testing agencies, refine the green tire raw material guides, and finally realize the tire labeling system so that consumers can only know the tires by looking at the labels when buying tires. performance.

Zhao Wenquan, deputy secretary-general of the China Rubber Association and director of the Technical and Economic Committee, said that the China Rubber Association will also establish a regular communication mechanism with the National Standardization Commission to exchange information and jointly promote the industrialization of green tires in China.
