An additional protective lip (dirt lip) prevents intrustion of dirt particles and thus increases functional reliability.

Range of application:

Primarily for sealing oil-lubricated shaft ducts with exposure to external (ambient) dirt.

For use in pressurised systems, particularly for hydraulic pumps and motors.

Due to the engineering design of the systems a temporary excess pressure of up to 10bar may occur at the seal.
