50% increase in petrochemical capacity in the Gulf in the next five years

The Gulf Cooperation Council said that by 2015, the petrochemical capacity in the Gulf region will increase by 46%, which will increase to 20% of the world's total.
Comprehensive media January 12 news, Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) official said that by 2015, the Gulf region will add about 46% of petrochemical production capacity, estimated investment of 50 billion US dollars.
By 2015, the proportion of petrochemical products and chemical products in the Middle East to global production will increase from 16% in 2009 to 20%.
